Some Important Information

Sachsenhausen was the principal concentration camp for the Berlin area.

Construction for the camp began in 1936.

Most of the prisoners at this camp were Poles who had been displaced and deported.

Sachsenhausen was also the site of the operation code named: 14f13, which later became known as the T-4 Euthanasia Program.
