Some Important Information

Dachau was build in 1933 and was the first concentration camp built by the Nazis.

The camp was liberated on April 29th, 1945.

Most of those held in the camp were political prisoners and enemies of the state. These prisoners were used as forced labor as opposed to being killed.

Many experiments were performed at Dachau as it contained many physicians from the German Air Force and the German Institution for Aviation.
