  • Read, study and discuss a pair of research articles, one of which will have been written at Rice or the Texas Medical center.
  • Tour the lab that produced the local article.
  • Tour the lab of your instructor.
  • Tour a Texas Medical Center research department.
  • Network with faculty, postdoctoral, grad-student, and undergraduate researchers.
  • Interact with Bioc 115 colleagues at a science-related social activity.

Bioc 115 is offered in the second half of the semester and does not conflict with Bioc 211. You can simultaneously register for both Bioc 211 and Bioc 115 here's how.
